Job description
Lomvia Skipsdrift AS is Norwegian shipowner company seeking an experienced chief engineer for MTIsfjord IMO 9190200 (Holland built, 2500 KW Wärtsilä and Volvo Penta Aux, Norwegian Flag, B. V Class and Ice class). The position is in a rotation for operations in Svalbard/Barents Sea along with the Norwegian coastline.The Chief Engineer is the head of the engine department and is responsible to the company for theadministration, supervision, safe and economical operation of the engine department. He is responsible for the effective management of technical and associated resources on board and the maintenance of those resources.
